RHEINZINK®-Rauten Interlocking tiles "preweathered" DBP
With the rediscovery and manufacture of RHEINZINK®-Rauten
(interlocking tiles) we are an often expressed wish of architects and building owners, whose desire for good design and consciousness of
tradition made them greatly regret the absence of such metal roof and wall tiles.
RHEINZINK®-Rauten have a square or pointed (parallelogram) shape, and are provided with simple cleats on all four sides.
When roofing or cladding, the RHEINZINK®-Rauten are so laid that the diagonols lie in the direction of the fall.
The fixing of the RHEINZINK®-Rauten is carried out by one fixing on each side of each Raute in the holes provided. Since the RHEINZINK®-Rauten
and the associated fixing strips (eaves, gables etc.) are only hung on each other by means of simple cleats, soldering or riveting
is only necessary in exceptional cases.
The most widely used fixing-grounds are of timber, either in the form of a framework of battens or a formwork covering the complete surface.
