What is Bonderized Metal?
Bonderized or G-90 steel is galvanized steel that has gone through an additional phosphate treatment before it leaves the manufacturer. The result is a product with a matte grey color which provides a corrosion inhibiting micro-porous surface that promotes exceptional adherence and corrosion resistance of feld-applied paints. It is important to apply the finish coat quickly, as lengthy exposure to the elements will impact paint adhesion.
