Slate Hook Installation

1. Remove the broken piece of slate.

2. Line up the hook end of the slate hook with the bottom edges of the slate on either side of the missing piece of slate.

3. Hammer the spike end of the slate hook into the roof deck in-between the two pieces of slate below and just above the top edge of the slate of the second course below.

4. Slide the repair piece of slate up into place and just above the hook. Slide the slate down until it engages the slate hook securely.
